Quarterly Week of Prayer and Fasting

Greetings My SISTERS, 

I pray all is well with each of you. The first week of May (May 2-6, 2016) will mark our Second Quarterly Week of Prayer and Fasting as Young Adult Missionaries of the Connectional WMS of the AME Church. The prayer focus for the week is as follows: 

• May 2, 2016 - Prayer for healing and strength to endure the challenges that come with Lupus (May is designated as Lupus Awareness Month)
• May 3, 2016 - Prayer for young women and girls forced into early marriages
• May 4, 2016 - Prayer for the Holy Spirit to revitalize the faith of believers everywhere
• May 5, 2016 - Prayer for stress management during our daily activities
• May 6, 2016 - Prayer for young adult women to speak the Word of God boldly and be empowered to be His witnesses, His hands and His feet wherever they are

All SISTERS who are medically able are asked to fast from sunrise to sunset Monday through Friday. 

We are asking for contributions for daily devotions for each day during our week of prayer and fasting. If interested, please submit a scripture, short devotion and prayer to wmsmemberatlarge@gmail.com by Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
